Cookie policy
The short version
Coeliac Everyday does not set any advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so we don't show a cookie banner. Our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels. Under UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, PECR), websites must ask for your consent before using cookies that aren't strictly necessary.
Cookies on this website
- Our own cookies: none. Our pages are static and don't need cookies to work.
- Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. According to Cloudflare, it sets no cookies and does not use localStorage or any other storage on your device, so it doesn't need consent. See our privacy policy for what it collects.
- Hosting and security: our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages)) may, in some circumstances, set a strictly necessary cookie, for example to protect the site from automated abuse. Strictly necessary cookies don't require consent.
- Advertising: none.
If this changes
If we ever add features that use non-essential cookies, such as advertising or certain analytics tools, we will:
- ask for your consent with a clear cookie banner before any non-essential cookies are set, with an equally easy option to reject them
- let you change your choice at any time
- update this policy to list each cookie, who sets it, what it's for and how long it lasts
External websites
We link to other websites, such as the NHS, Coeliac UK and retailers. They have their own cookie policies, which apply when you visit them.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The ICO's guidance explains how cookies work and how to control them.
